This oriental-style, majolica ceramic box is highly decorative with colourful depictions of everyday life and sporting combat, plus lotus flower imagery. At each corner there is a lion face and foot. This would look fabulous on a hall table, mantlepiece or as a centrepiece for a sofa table. The decoration is full of colour and the glaze is in good condition.
