Large antique Hart & Moist Pottery (Exeter, Devon) two handled loving cup (circa. early 20th century). A super mug typical of the H&M Devon pottery motto ware - slip decorated - motto reads:
'He that will thrive, Must rise at five. He that hath thriven, May lie till seven.' Hand decorated with floral decoration on both sides plus motto.
Dimensions: height 12cm, diameter at rim 9cm, total width including both handles 15.5cm. Red clay.
