The Doulton pottery period dates from the late 1880s, when they were produced in Stoke-on-Trent, the centre of English pottery making. Stunning condition, with no knocks or chips, and the original maker’s transfer to the base of both.
A really good weight, and a great size, suitable as a large centrepiece on hall or kitchen table or island. Useful for fruit, as a decorative piece or for planting bulbs.
Dimensions: Height: 12.5cm, Diameter at rim: 37.5cm, crazed glaze in keeping with age (c. 1901) maker's mark on base.
