This generously large and rather rare, footed cake stand by Old England shows four different views of Conway Castle and is bordered by a highly decorative ivy border, which is repeated in smaller form under the rim and around the base of the foot.
A good stand for larger cakes or puddings, or could be used to serve bread or cheese. Traditionally used in large country kitchens - a fabulous centrepiece on a table when entertaining and highly decorative.
Dimensions: height 6cm, diameter at rim 30cm. Maker's mark on base. Early transfer ware - this piece is a substantial weight.
