This wonderful thatched cottage has a roof that lifts off (with a chimney pot) and the house below has pretty doors, windows and trees - all hand painted. Originally used as a butter or cheese dish, this is a useful and decorative item and can be used for storing anything you wish... even your mini eggs.
Dimensions: height 11cm approx. to top of chimney (with air hole for ventilation), diameter of dish 14cm, diameter of fixed plate below l9.5cm. Maker's mark on base and style no. 247. Some minor age marks and crazing to glaze consistent with age. Paint and glaze in excellent condition.
